I walked my last step on this A.T. on the 7th of July; pictures and follow-up posts will be added when all the journals catch up to Katahdin.
Sorry for the delay; I haven’t had stable internet access. I’m still hanging out around Katahdin as of the 15th of this month, and promise to put up the final post within a week (iff Ben puts up my last round of Trail Letters, that is…).

Congratulations DJ. That is quite an accomplishment and you sould be as proud of yourself as I know your mother and GRdi are. Now you belong to that select fraternity of Thru-Hikers that carry that title the rest of their lives. Well Done.
Trill is in Maine but has slowed down a bit and going now on his own. His brother will join him this week a nd hike Stratton to Monson with him, then he is on his own to Kaytadin. He plans to summit around the end of the month. I am sure he will see you again one day in Damascus.

Well Jon you said you were going to walk it, AT, and you did it, so what next. Don’t be like Forest Jump and turn around and walk back. 5 months on trail is sure long time out in wild. I was always giving advice at Tech. You need to rest and start writing you a book on what it take to accomplish a feat like you just did. Maybe we will see you back at Tech this Fall.
